Pakistan should ban anti-India activities of militant groups

India has made it clear to Pakistan that she will not start the composite dialogue unless Pakistan takes action against the militants groups like Jamaat-ud-Dawa.  Indian Foreign minister S M Krishna said:

India's engagement with Pakistan will be predicated, as it has been since the Mumbai terrorist attack, on the response of Pakistan to our core concerns on terrorism.

I think Pakistan should pay attention to India’s demands and ban activities of JuD.  Peace in the region will bring happiness on the faces of our people.  We all know JuD has been carrying out subversive activities in India. Their magazine ‘Ad-dawa’ often narrated the stories of Pakistan youth died in Kashmir. Denial will not solve our problem. All the big and small western powers favor India. India is making progress by leaps and bounds while our nation is witnessing political turmoil, economic crisis and rising militancy.

PML(N) is fomenting sectrian conflict in Pakistan

Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan has lambasted at PML their relationship with Jihadi organisation Sipah-e-Sahaba. Their anger is justified because their leaders not only participated intheir election rallies but also used abusive language against abusive language against the Shia Community.

Pakistan is a multi-religious country. Religious harmony is essential for the survival of this country. Thousands of innocent people have died in sectarian violence.

It is a matter of concern when we see big parties likePML(N) fomenting sectarian conflict for their petty politics.  I urge PML(N) leadership to reprimand its law minister for using abusive language against Shia Community.

Commentary: India names two Pakistani army officers in 26/11

Indian government has demanded that Pakistan hand over Major Iqbal and Major Samir Ali. The demand was made during the foreign secretary-level talks. Indian government things their interrogation will enable them to investigate the culprits behind Mumbai attacks. India says that these two serving Pakistan Army officers were the handlers of David Headley. Indian agencies say that David Headley provided assistance to terrorists in carrying out the Mumbai attacks.

It is not clear whether India has incriminating evidence to prove the involvement of these officers.  In my opinion, the new revelation is an Indian attempt to further malign Pakistan in the eye of International community.

Obama Administration rebukes Israel for designating holy sites as Israeli national heritage sites

The Obama administration has expressed displeasure over designating holy sites in West Bank and Bethlehem as Israeli national heritage sites. The Administration terms this move as provocative and unhelpful.

The US State Department spokesman PJ Crowley said:

We have asked both parties to refrain from provocative and unilateral actions that undermine efforts to resume negotiations to end the conflict.

In my opinion, the U.S. should sternly tell Israel to halt the settlement growth. I also urge Palestinian not to resort to violence. This is will give Israeli government a excuse not to come to negotiating table.

Pakistan should not have extended support in Rigi's arrest

Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran has revealed that his government helped Iran arrest Abdolmalek Rigi. He said:

"I should say that his arrest could not happen without Pakistan's help," Abbasi told a news conference in Tehran, without giving further details.”

I fail to understand why Iranian authorities said that they captured him without any assistance. They should have given credit to Pakistan agencies.  It is too early to say th at how  Abdolmalek Rigi’s supporters would react.

In my opinion, Pakistan should not have extended support to Iranian authorities. We are already facing problems because of Baloch separatists in Balochistan. Now Rigi’s arrest will increase turmoil in the province. His supporters will make an alliance with separatists to strike their common enemy.

We know how to protect minorities

Indian external affairs minister S M Krishna made a emotional statement on the beheading of Sardar Jaspal Singh. He said:

I rise tostrongly condemn the beheading of Sardar Jaspal Singh in the tribal areas ofPakistan. This barbaric and heinous crime is deplorable in the strongestpossible terms.

He added :

This incident of kidnapping and killing of Sikhs inPakistan is a matter of deep and serious concern to the government, and is beingtaken up appropriately with the government of Pakistan.

We Pakistanis are also very angry over this is incident, which occurred in our tribal area. We know that  extremists are giving a bad name to our country and religion. We are not sitting idle. We striving our best to destroy them. Thousands of our men have died in fighting with the militants.

Minorities in Pakistan are living a peaceful life. I know some ugly incidents have occurred in our country in which extremists have killed people belonging to minority groups. However, India's record is very bad in this regard.

Thousands of Muslims and Christians have died in riots in India. Indian central government never brought the perpetrators to justice. We have not forgot the massacre of Gujrat. Did India punish people responsible for Gujrat riots?

Pakistan wants to destroy 'Brand India'

An Indian  defenceanalyst wrote in his article in the Times of India that Pakistan wants to destroy India's prosperity. He wrote:

It is‘Brand India’, increasingly popular with global investors and tourists, that they wish to destroy because it reflects India’s economic success and multicultural ethos

So Pakistan’s terrorist ideologues along with military and intelligence hardliners initiated Phase-II of their design ‘to bleed India by a thousand cuts’

Part-II is aimed at the centres of India’s secular credentials and economic growth, outside the Valley. Many of them are what might be referred to as India’s ‘Tier-II’ cities.

In think India is raising hue an cry to malign Pakistan. Indians have failed to provide evidence to prove their rhetorics.

John Kerry, chairman of the powerful Foreign Relations, commented on Pune attack this way. He said :

I hope India will have that conversation with Pakistan and, if they have evidence to that effect, that should be the first thing on the table and Pakistan has to deal with it.

India can approach the United Nations, if she feels that prosperity and security at risk. Running media campaigns will not solve the problem.

Commentary:-Terror suspect Najibullah Zazi

The Afghan immigrant Najibullah Zazi accepted that he planned to attack New York City subways to kill Americans to avenge the atrocities committed by the United States in Afghanistan.  He said that he received training for bombing making in Pakistan.

His revelation has shocked me. What shocked me most is that his Imam father did not stop him from  carrying out his nefarious plot.  He did not think for a moment that his son’s action would result in the deaths of scores of innocent Americans.  People like Najibullah Zazi and imam like Zazi’s father is giving a bad name to Muslims in the United States.

Muslims in the United States should keep an eye on people like Najibullah Zazi and should report their activities to police.

India must also address the concerns raised by Pakistan

Indian President said:

India is ready to explore a meaningful relationship with Pakistanif Pakistan seriously addresses the threat of terrorism and takes effectivesteps to prevent terrorist activities against India.

Pakistan also wants good relations with India. India must also try to address the concerns raised by Pakistan. Pakistan feels that Indian agencies are supporting Baloch separatist.

US Marines facing resistance in Marjah

US Marines have not yet succeeded in capturing Marjah. The marine spokesman himself accepted, they are facing tough resistance and have not yet been able to bring peace in the areas. He also told us that militants are present in very part of the city.

Reports say that there are 40 militants in Marjah. It is strange to note that well-trained and well-equipment marines not able to accomplish their task despite heavy firepower and air power.

NATO’s Civilian Chief said that they are moving slowly to avoid civilian casually. In my opinion, he is bluffing. Taliban's men have inflicted heavy losses to them. The losses compelled them to slow down their advance. Americans and Afghan armies have also not the support of the local population.
