Commentary: Unilateral Action by U.S. a Growing Fear in Pakistan

JANE PERLEZ writes in the New Times that if US attacks
Pakistan’s tribal areas, it would
further enhance anti-American sentiment. She wrote these words after analyzing
the reports and articles in the Pakistani
press.

There is no doubt it would unilateral Action by U.S. will
generate anti-American sentiment. However, the US has no but to do that.  Their money and pressure has failed to compel
Pakistan to adopt a  coherent policy to
deal with the situation in Pakistan’s tribal. In my opinion, Pakistani wants to
maintain the status quo because it helps put pressure on American to release
aid.
